This Dispute Resolution System is a program for buyers, sellers and REALTORS® to resolve disputes that arise between them in the purchase and sale of real estate. The sevice is an alternative to the mores costly and time-consuming process of civil litigation in the courts.
* A Consumer Service administered by IDRS and developed by the Pennsylvania Association of REALTORS® (PAR).
* For disputes arising under a PAR Standard Agreement for the Sale of Real Estate. What is Impartial Dispute Resolution Services (IDRS)?
IDRS is a provider of mediation and arbitration services. The principle neutral of IDRSis Robert A. Creo, Esquire, who has been mediating and arbitrating disputes in a variety of areas for nearly 20 years.
IDRS has contracted with the REALTORS® Association of Metropolitan Pittsburgh (RAMP) to administer their Dispute Resolution System. IDRS pays a fee to RAMP for the promotion of the program. What is the REALTORS® Association of Metropolitan Pittsburgh (RAMP)?
RAMP is a not-for-profit Pennsylvania Corporation comprised of thousands fo real estate licenses in this Commonwealth. RAMP is a member board of the Pennsylvania Association of REALTORS® (PAR) which has designed the Standard Agreement for the Sale fo Real Estate and the Dispute Resolution System.
