Expert Witness
In a class action claim seeking to overturn over 3,000 settlements for hearing loss cases involving railroad, Robert A. Creo was retained by defendant railroad to serve as Expert Witness in U.S. District Court for Western District located in Seattle. Kenneth Feinburg of Washington D.C., Special Master, appointed by congress to oversee and implement all victim compensation funds, was also retained by defendant railroad to file report in favor of upholding settlements. The case proceeded to jury verdict in 2004 in favor of defendant railroad.
