Professor Archibald Cox was a labor arbitrator and a member of the National Academy of Arbitrators at the time of his appointment as Special Prosecutor in the Watergate case. The National Academy of Arbitrators bestowed Lifetime Honorary Membership status on Professor Cox in 1988.
