Mr. Creo has significant experience as an advocate and a neutral in tort, employment, insurance, commercial, construction, real estate and other practice areas.  He has been retained to serve as settlement counsel by law firms to negotiate complex and large claims on their behalf.

Mr. Creo has served over 4,000 days as a neutral since 1979 in thousands of cases, including hundreds of claims of serious injury, death, complex business transactions and commercial cases involving multi-million dollar settlements. He has served as a court-appointed Special Master involving class action resolutions. He served as an arbitrator for Major League Baseball and the Major League Baseball Players Association and for the National Football League and National Football Players Association.  He served as neutral for the United States Senate, Select Committee on Ethics, Office of Fair Employment Practices from 1992 to 1997.

Mr. Creo has been a neutral for numerous dispute resolution organizations such as American Arbitration Association; CPR Institute for Dispute Resolution; Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service; JAMS; National Association of Securities Dealers; Pa. Bureau of Mediation and U.S. District Court, Western District of Pa. He is a member of numerous organizations and has held leadership positions in many of them, including as the first President of the International Academy of Mediators. Mr. Creo is recognized internationally in the fields of mediation and negotiation. He is an Adjunct Professor at both Duquesne University School of Law and the University Of Pittsburgh School Of Law. He conducts educational programs for professional organizations. He has published extensively on dispute resolution.

Mr. Creo earned his B.A., magna cum laude, in 1974 from Brandeis University and his J.D. from Washington University School of Law in 1977, where he was Senior Editor of the Washington University Law Quarterly.
